Digital television (or «DTV») is a new technology which soon will be used for all television broadcasting in US. It means that everyone soon will have to use this technology to watch TV.
First of all, We can call digital television transition «a new era in television broadcasting». It means that you will watch your TV in absolutely new way.
First thing you have to do is relax and don’t worry – cause in most cases you will have to do nothing, and your TV will be switched automatically on February 17, 2009. But there are some cases when you will have to get a special device for your television set called «TV digital converter» or «TV digital tuner» which you can use with your indoor or outdoor antenna.
